This week we feature Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Night Ranger and The Doors on "Soundcheck"  this Sunday night at 10pm on 101.5 WPDH and the WPDH app.

Foreigner is currently on their 40th anniversary tour and makes a stop at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie on Saturday April 29th with "Four by Fate" as the opening band.  One original member is left and that is founding member, guitarist Mick Jones.  All of Foreigner's big hits including their self titled debut album in 1977 came with Lou Gramm as lead singer. After Gramm's illness and a break from recording and touring Foreigner emerged in 2004 with new lead singer Kelly Hansen who was the lead singer for the band "Hurricane"

The performance we will feature is Foreigner at the Deer Creek Amphitheater in Noblesville, Indiana in 1993.  The theater is now known as the Klipsch Music Center.  Lou Gramm is on vocals for this performance.

The Doors performance is from Pittsburgh, PA in 1970, recorded at the now defunct Pittsburgh Civic Arena.
