Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you the Clash "Combat Rock" in it's entirety, start to finish.

Released in 1982 through CBS Records, "Combat Rock" is the group's fifth studio album and their best selling album. The album was certified gold in November 1982, platinum in January 1983, and multi-platinum in 1995 in the United States. It spent 61 weeks on the U.S. chart peaking at number 7 with singles "Should I Stay or Should I Go" and "Rock the Casbah".

Combat Rock was initially planned to be a double album with the working title "Rat Patrol from Fort Bragg". That idea was scrapped due to internal trouble within the group.

WPDH Album of the Week is presented by Kingston Nissan, Real People Real Deals, at Kingstonnissan.net
