WPDH Album of the Week: Styx ‘Pieces of Eight’

Pieces of Eight is the eighth studio album from Styx, it was released on September 1, 1978 on A&M Records. The band capitalized on the success of their previous album The Grand Illusion, once again going triple platinum and peaking at number 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart with singles "Sing for the Day", "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)", and "Renegade". Styx play the WPDH 40th anniversary concert coming up on Friday, Sept. 23 at Mid Hudson Civic Center. Don't miss this show. Get tickets here.
