Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you Rush 'Signals' in it's entirety, start to finish.

Rush released their ninth studio album Signals in 1982. It would be the follow-up to the successful Moving Pictures album, and it would continue to see the band experimenting with 80's technology with the increased use of electronic instrumentation like synthesizers, sequencers, and electric violin. It reached the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts and would sell a million copies with help from radio singles like "New World Man" and Subdivisions". AllMusic praised the album, complimenting the band for not simply making Moving Pictures part 2 and continuing their exploration of the synthesizer and introducing more contemporary themes into their lyrics.
