WPDH Album of the Week: Rolling Stones ‘Some Girls’

Some Girls was released 40 years ago (June 9, 1978) on Rolling Stones Records. The album reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and became the Rolling Stone's top selling album in the U.S. having sold over six million copies. It was a major critical success and it earned the band a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year with singles "Miss You", "Beast of Burden" and "Shattered". Critics considered it a classic return to form.
