WPDH Album of the Week: Pink Floyd ‘Wish You Were Here’

Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you Pink Floyd 'Wish You Were Here' in its entirety, start to finish.

Released in 1975, 'Wish You Were Here' was recorded during several sessions at London's Abbey Road Studios. 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' is a tribute to Syd Barrett, whose mental breakdown forced him to leave the band seven years earlier. The album appeared on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 'The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time'.
