Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you Neil Young and Crazy Horse "Rust Never Sleeps" in it's entirety, start to finish.

Rust Never Sleeps was released July 22, 1979 on Reprise Records and was recorded mostly live, then overdubbed in the studio. The album is half acoustic and half electric, with the live tracks recorded in at San Francisco's Boarding House during the Neil Young and Crazy Horse 1978 tour. In a 1979 critics poll, Rolling Stone magazine named Rust Never Sleeps Album of the Year. It also ranked on Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums of all time list with standout tracks being "Powderfinger", "Pocahontas", "Thrasher", and "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)".
