Released in 1983 on Elektra Records, Shout at the Devil was Motley Crue's second studio album, and the band's breakthrough album. It established Motley Crue as one of the top selling heavy metal band's of the 1980's. Hits include "Looks That Kill" and "Too Young to Fall in Love".

Shout at the Devil
brought Motley Crue international attention. The title of the album and use of the pentagram brought the band much controversy upon the album's release in 1983 with christian groups claiming that the band was encouraging their listeners to worship satan. Despite the controversy, Shout at the Devil went on to sell 4 million copies.
