Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you John Mellencamp "Scarecrow" in it's entirety, start to finish.

Released in 1985, "Scarecrow" is John Mellencamp's eighth album and it featured three Top 10 hits: "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A", "Lonely Ol' Night", and "Small Town." "Lonely Ol' Night" hit number 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

In 1989, Rolling Stone magazine ranked "Scarecrow" number 95 on their list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980's saying the album "consolidated the band's rugged, roots-rock thrash and the ongoing maturation of Mellencamp's lyrics." We bring you "Scarecrow" as the WPDH Album of the Week this weekend in honor of it's 30th anniversary.

WPDH Album of the Week is presented by Kingston Nissan, Real People Real Deals, at Kingstonnissan.net
