Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you Eric Clapton 'Slowhand', in its entirety, start to finish.

Eric Clapton released the album Slowhand in November 1977 on RSO Records. The album title came from Clapton's nickname and it remains one of his most commercially successful studio albums. It peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and included the hit singles 'Lay Down Sally', 'Wonderful Tonight', and 'Cocaine'. AllMusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine said that "the confident, virtuosic quality in the band's playing and the diversity of the songwriting made Slowhand rank with 461 Ocean Boulevard as Eric Clapton's best albums."

The WPDH Album of the Week is presented by Kingston Nissan, Real People Real Deals, at Kingstonnissan.net
