WPDH Album of the Week: David Bowie ‘Ziggy Stardust’

David Bowie's fifth studio album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was released in 1972 on RCA Records. The concept album tells the story of Bowie's alter ego Ziggy Stardust who is a rock star/messenger for extraterrestrial beings. The album received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest albums of all time, with Rolling Stone magazine ranking it 35th.
