Boston released their second album Don't Look Back Aug. 2, 1978 on Epic Records. The title track was one of the band's biggest hits reaching No. 4 on the Billboard charts and the album sold over 4 million copies in it's first month of release. It has since gone 7 times platinum. The band was involved in a legal battle with it's record label at the time as Tom Scholz felt that the band was being pressured by the label to finish an album before they felt it was ready. It would be another eight years before the band's next album would see the light of day, and it would be with a new label. We celebrate the 40th anniversary of Boston's 'Don't Look Back' this week with the WPDH Album of the Week.
