WPDH Album of the Week: Aerosmith ‘Rocks’

Aerosmith released their fourth studio album Rocks in May of 1976 on Columbia Records. The album was a commercial success, eventually going quadruple platinum with singles "Last Child" and "Back in the Saddle." Rocks ranked on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the album greatly influenced hard rock/metal artists like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, and Nirvana. AllMusic described the album as having "capturing Aerosmith at their most raw and rocking."
