Not something you'd expect to see on the highway! A freak accident almost turned deadly the other day, as a woman traveling in the passenger seat of a car was almost hit by a flying ax. The ax was said to have flown out of a landscape truck as it was traveling on I-95 near Topsfield, MA. The driver and the woman in the car had no time to react as the ax hit the passenger side of the windshield. Thankfully, the ax didn't completely penatrate the windshield, or the incident could have turned deadly..

MA State Police say the ax had been left on the hood of the truck, after a previous job. Once on the highway, the ax flew off the truck, bounced off the highway, and then that's when it hit the car. The driver of the truck was given a $200 dollar ticket for not securing cargo.
