A woman who reportedly jumped from the 4th floor of a local mall has been pronounced dead.

Police responded just after 4pm, according to the Journal News, to investigate reports of a woman who had jumped over the ledge of the Palisades Center Mall near the movie theater.

Police say the victim did not have identification on her, so they are in the process of trying to figure out who she is. Reports say that the mall was not very crowded, because of the winter weather in the Nyack area today. A physician’s assistant from Nyack Hospital, however, was shopping at the mall and responded to the victim, performing CPR on her, until emergency crews arrived.

A man jumped from the 2nd floor of the Palisades Mall last month, however that was reportedly because he was dared to do it by a friend. That person was treated and released from Nayak hospital.
