Azizgul Hussainzada had been visiting her daughter in Californa, and planned on flying back home to Rochester. Needless to say, her plans were changed.

Hussainzada planned on flying out of Oakland, CA to JFK Airport, and then out of JFK to Greater Rochester International Airport. Sounds simple enough. Hussainzada doesn't speak English, so when she asked for assistance to board her connecting JetBlue flight at JFK airport, she was put on the wrong flight instead. The flight she was put on was bound for Barbados. The woman did not have a boarding pass, but was still allowed on the flight.

Poor Azizgul apparently had no idea where she was when the plane landed in Barbados. Meanwhile, her family was at the airport in Rochester awaiting her return. Her luggage made it to Rochester, but when her family didn't see her come off the plane, they panicked. Her son explained that she has diabetes and didn't have her medication with her. Hours went by before the family learned exactly where she was.  The family said JetBlue refunded the cost of the ticket but didn't offer a formal apology.

Good news is that Azizgul eventually made it home safely and is now with her family. The explained that she's exhausted and understandably doesn't want to travel anytime soon.
