Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Greene County

Someone is having a better than average day today in Greene County.

According to the Daily Freeman, a winning Take 5 lottery ticket was sold on Friday, at the Cairo Mart, 441 Main St in Cairo in Greene County.

The winning ticket is worth more than $34,000, with the winning numbers, 5, 13, 20, 23 and 26. The exact winning total, before taxes, is $34,382.50.

After you check your tickets and find that you are lucky enough to have the winning ticket, you have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim your prize.

Winning tickets can be claimed at a NYS lottery claims office. They have locations in Fishkill, at 18 Westage Business Center, Suite 6, and up near Albany, in Schenectady, at 1 Broadway Center.

If you have never played Take 5, all you need to play is to pick five different numbers from 1 to 39 and hope for the best. The winning numbers are drawn daily around 11 p.m. every night.
