As the NBA enters the 2017 Draft, the New York Knicks might be looking to make some moves.

Could trading '7 3'' Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis be one of the deals on the table? if so, why would the Knicks want to trade one of their most reliable young players?

One possible deal would send Porzingis to Boston. SB Nation says that the Knicks could ship Porzingis to Boston for two first round picks, and another up and coming player currently on the Celtics' roster.

Porzingis has apparently been frustrated with the Knicks, and in particular; Phil Jackson. The Knicks missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year, and are probably looking to send Carmelo Anthony elsewhere. This could only further the young Latvian's desire to leave new York.

It's an unfortunate state of affairs, as Porzingis was considered by some to be the future of the franchise. Of course, nothing may happen at all.
