Do you make people laugh? You just might be the next Jimmy Fallon as we search the Hudson Valley for the funniest undiscovered talent.

Comedian Jimmy Fallon got his start in comedy right here in the Hudson Valley. While growing up in Saugerties, Fallon competed in a local comedy competition that put him on the path to comedy greatness. If people tell you that you're funny, we want to make you a contestant in our comedy search. Who knows? This might be the beginning of your career in comedy.

To enter, just create a short video of yourself making jokes, doing impressions or telling a funny story. The best submissions will be invited to perform at one of two comedy showcases hosted by The Boris & Robyn Show's guest comedian Rich Shultis. The shows will take place at the Laugh It Up Comedy Club in Poughkeepsie on September 16 and Joker's Comedy Club in Chester on September 30.

During the showcases everyday people just like you will try to impress judges from The Boris & Robyn Show and a packed crowd of WPDH listeners. The very best will make their way to the finals at Laugh It Up in Poughkeepsie on October 14 where one grand prize winner will be named the Funniest Person in the Hudson Valley.

The champion will not only win the title, but will also head out on their own mini comedy tour including stops at Joker's, Laugh it Up and ending with an opening spot on stage at the LOL Comedy Club in Times Square.

You can  upload the video to us on the new WPDH smartphone app or send us a link or file of the video to boris@wpdh.com with the subject "Funniest Person in the Hudson Valley."

We'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Good luck!
