Is the No Pants Subway Ride making its way to the Hudson Valley this year?

This Sunday marks the 15th annual No Pants Subway Ride in New York City. The lighthearted event started among a group of friends who dared each other to ride the rails in their underwear. Now, thousands of straphangers participate in this wacky event in over a dozen cities each year.

Last year 4,000 New Yorkers took off their pants and took a ride on the subway. Those that were in on the joke had a good laugh. Those who didn't know what was going on were amused, shocked and mostly confused by the event.

The question is, why hasn't the No Pants movement made it's way to the Hudson Valley? There's really not a lot of work that goes in to it. At 3pm on Sunday you simply take off your pants and get on the bus. The question is, does anyone have the nerve to be the first one in the Hudson Valley to do it?

If you're brave enough to be pioneer that breaks the ice and goes pantless on the Loop Bus this Sunday, let us know. We might just decide to join you.
