Where to get Free Ice Cream Cones and Italian Ice This Week

Rejoice! Free Ice Cream Cone Day and Free Italian Ice Day both happen this week. And if you live in the Hudson Valley, there are quite a few locations where you can go and get yours.

As part of Dairy Queen's 75th anniversary celebration, they're handing out free cones to all customers on Monday, March 16. As we reported last week, the cones are totally free. However, DQ is using the promotion to help generate donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

If free ice cream isn't enough to get you in the mood for spring, Rita's Italian Ice is giving away free Italian ice on Friday, March 20. It's all part of the 23rd annual First Day of Spring Free Italian Ice Giveaway. On Friday customers can grab a free Italian ice in any flavor of their choosing. That's right, even Swedish Fish!
