Google has released their list for most searched terms for 2014. Can you guess what topped the list?

This year the most searched term was Robin Williams. His suicide in August was a shock to many people and they flocked to Google. Besides searching him, he was talked about constantly on social media.

Google's Most Search Terms For 2014:

  2. World Cup
  3. Ebola
  4. Malaysia Airlines
  5. Flappy Bird
  6. ALS Ice Bucket challenge
  7. ISIS
  8. Ferguson
  9. Frozen
  10. Ukraine

Looking at this list, it makes sense that these were the top 10, they were all huge stories and subject for the year. While Ebola was the third most searched term, it topped the list for "What is...?".
