This is one way to dry the bat.

Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez had a unique method to keep his bat dry while it poured down at Fenway Park in the first inning Sunday night.

Rodriguez decided to step out of the batter’s box and rubbed his bat up and down his crotch area. AROD was later able to hit a two-run home run and a two-run double off Boston's David Price so maybe he was on to something.

Unfortunately, for the Yankees, the lead didn't last. The Yankees' pitching continues to struggle as starter Nathan Eovaldi gave up two leads and six runs. Dellin Betances later gave up a two-run home run to Christian Vazquez in the seventh.

The Red Sox would win 8-7 and completed a three-game sweep.

The Yankees now fall 8-15 which is last place in the American League East. They face the Orioles tomorrow night in Baltimore.
