I just read an article on insideoutmotherhood.com about what Sullivan County residents love about Sullivan County. I remember spending some time there way back when I was a little girl, and my Grandma had a "summer home" there. Or a small rented bungalow, as the case may be. We lived in New Windsor, so we would head to Monticello for a weekend afternoon.

My memories are really vague, but I'm pretty sure we would eat at a place called Kaplan's. And it felt like every other building was an arcade where my cousin Liz and I could play skee ball, and trade our tickets for prizes. That was a long time ago.

The insideoutmotherhood.com article mentions 20 things people in Sullivan love including Bethel Woods (and taking the back way in and out of Bethel Woods), getting aggravated at people who think that the big concert in 1969 was in the town of Woodstock, talking about the old days in Sullivan, and The Roscoe Diner.

Sullivan residents, do you agree or disagree with what made the list? Let us know in the comments below, and add your own!
