Unsettled weather for the first part of the week.  A low-pressure system brings some rain and even wet snow Monday for the Hudson Valley.  Another low-pressure system brings more rain and snow to region.  A strong cold front track through the Hudson Valley ushering in very cold weather for Thanksgiving.

In the valley most of the snow will mix with sleet and rain.  Most of the accumulations will less than an inch.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday:  Cloudy, with isolated rain and showers.  High near 43. Light and variable wind.

Monday Night:  Rain expected, with a mix of snow, sleet and rain overnight.  Low around 34.

Tuesday:  Rain and snow before noon, then a chance of rain, then scattered showers.  High around 40.

Tuesday Night:  Scattered snow showers before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny, with a slight chance of rain or show showers.  High near 38.
