Wednesday, September 23: Rock n Roll Birthdays

Happy Birthday today (Sept. 23) to Bruce Springsteen. He’s 66. Also celebrating is Neal Smith, former drummer of the original Alice Cooper group (68). Both Bruce Springsteen and Neal Smith are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bruce Springsteen's is one of the world's best-selling artists of all time with over 120 million albums sold worldwide. He's earned numerous awards including 20 Grammy awards, and was inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. One of his most successful albums, 'Born to Run' turned 40 years old in 2015.
