Malcolm Young retired from AC/DC in 2014 after being diagnosed with dementia. AC/DC was formed by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young out of Australia in 1973. The band has sold over 200 million records worldwide making them one of the biggest selling bands of all time. Their 1980 album Back in Black has sold around 50 million albums worldwide making it one of the top selling albums of all time by any band. Malcolm Young and AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
