Happy Birthday today (Dec. 9) to rock n roll hall of famer Dennis Dunaway. He’s 69 and he is best known as the original bass bassist for Alice Cooper from 1969–1974.

Dunaway co-wrote some of the band’s most notable songs, including “I’m Eighteen” and “School’s Out”. Dennis currently plays live with Blue Coupe (Blue Coupe features Dennis along with Blue Oyster Cult alumni, multi instrumentalist Joe Bouchard and his brother Albert Bouchard on drums). Blue Coupe tours regularly showcasing the music of Blue Oyster Cult and Alice Cooper.

Earlier this year, we had an exclusive interview Dennis Dunaway who talked with us about his days in the Alice Cooper Group and his autobiography titled "Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs! My Adventures in the Alice Cooper Group". The book was released this past summer and features great road stories from this living legend of rock n roll. You can check out the full interview below.
