Ellen Albertini Dow, the spunky and hilarious foul-mouthed granny has passed away at age 101. 

She is best known for the rapping granny in Adam Sandler's "The Wedding Singer", as she rapped Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight".

She racked up over 100 film and TV credits in her career, including roles on "Hannah Montana", "Wedding Crashers", and "Seinfeld", as reported by The NY Post.

She studied acting in New York, and obtained a master's degree from Cornell. She did not start her big screen career until she was in her 70's.

One of Dow’s last on-screen appearances came two years ago, when she appeared on the FOX series “New Girl.”
