This thirteen year old golden retriever, who suffers from arthritis and is nearly deaf, was so happy to be reunited with her owner that it almost sounds like she's weeping.

The dog's name is Buddy. Buddy was absolutely ecstatic to see her owner, 21 year-old Army Private Hannah Foraker, who had just returned from basic training  for the first time in three months.

Foraker told ABC News that Buddy followed her everywhere while she was home. Foraker's family even believes that seeing Hannah gave Buddy some new found energy.

When I came home we let her outside and, at first, she didn’t realize I was home. Then, she did a double-take and came back to me. That’s when she started crying and whimpering. She was so excited.
