Senior Kelsey Minato became the first active cadet in Army history to have their jersey retired.

The surprise ceremony followed Army women's basketball's 72-38 victory over Boston University during Senior Night on Wednesday evening. Minato scored a game-high 30 points, along with seven rebounds and three assists.

The 20 year-old from Huntington Beach, California has set just about every record you can imagine for West Point basketball. She leads the all-time Army women's career scoring list with 2,422 points.

Of course, the season's still not even over.

Minato with graduate this spring, and his considering a career in the Quartermaster branch, handling logistical issues. The NY Daily News says that she and will shadow an officer at Fort Lewis in Washington State this summer.
