Robyn Taylor has many hidden talents. Video taken during The Boris & Robyn Show proves that one of those talents is watermelon seed spitting.

June 25 marks the start of this year's Watermelon Thump, an annual festival in Texas that celebrates everyone's favorite summer fruit. By far, the most popular part of the festival is the watermelon seed spitting contest. Children, adults, and teams practice all year and travel for miles to participate in a competition to see how far they can spit watermelon seeds.

The Guiness Book of World Records claims that the furthest seed was launched an incredible 68 feet 9 and 1/8 inches by Lee Wheelis at the festival in 1989. If anyone can beat the record, the Watermelon Thump promises a bonus prize of $500.

Because the WPDH studios aren't big enough to go for the distance record, we decided to have a contest to see who has the best accuracy. Our producer, Meat Sandwich and Robyn Taylor both took turns spitting seeds at a picture of our program director, Joe Limardi.

We're not sure if Robyn is really good at spitting seeds... or really dislikes our boss. But either way, you can't deny that she's got some mad seed-spittin' skills!
