Sunday was the Old-Timers' Game at Yankee Stadium, and Hideki Matsui came to play.

The former Yankee drilled a long home run off David Cone that traveled all the way to the second deck in right field.

It was quite the homecoming for "Godzilla" who turned 42 on Sunday.

Matsui made a name for himself in his native Japan, hitting 332 home runs in ten seasons. He arrived with the Yankees in 2003, and played productive seven seasons with New York.

He was the 2009 World Series MVP with the Yankees. Matsui last played in the majors with Tampa Bay in 2012.

Given the Yankees' string of injuries, maybe they could use him? Hey, why not?
