Warrant Wednesday: Woman Wanted on Sex Abuse, Unlawful Imprisonment Charges

Here’s this week’s list of outstanding warrants issued by the New York State Police and posted on their Facebook page. They ask all of us to help spread the word.

New York State Police Troop C Oneonta is looking for 21-year-old Asha C. Jackson. The NY State Police state that she is wanted for criminal sex act 1st degree, sex abuse 1st degree and unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree, related to a crime that occurred at the Job Corp Academy in Oneonta in March of 2012. At that time, Jackson was arrested for sexually assaulting another student, Jackson was arraigned but since then has missed court dates, according to the NY State Police . On February 21, 2013, a bench warrant was issued by the Town of Oneonta directing the arrest of Jackson.
