Warrant Wednesday: Putnam County Man Wanted For Tampering With Evidence

It’s a new week and another round of outstanding warrants have been released by the New York State Police. But they can’t apprehend these individuals without our help. Here’s where you and I come in, the New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and they ask that we please share the information.

While we have highlighted only one individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.

New York State Police Troop K, Brewster is looking for 39-year-old Tariq A. Yacub for tampering with physical evidence, escape, and resisting arrest. According to the NY State Police, Yacub is also wanted by the Town of Southeast Court after fleeing from Troopers on July 9 on I-84 in Putnam County. Yacub is also wanted by the Town of Erwin in Steuben County. He was last seen traveling in a  tan 2003 Ford Explorer with Maryland plates 2DF6209. Yacib is known to travel between Maryland, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
