Warrant Wednesday: Orange County Man Wanted for Possession of Controlled Substance

Here’s this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police that they need our help with. The New York State Police post the week’s outstanding warrants on their Facebook page. While we have highlighted an individual here, this is just one of the individuals they are looking for, and they ask that all of us help spread the word.

New York State Police Troop F, Monroe, are looking for 27-year-old Philip W. Harewood for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to the New York State Police, Harewood was stopped on I-87 in the Town of Woodbury for a traffic violation. An investigation found 11 grams of heroin in the trunk of the car and 500 glassine envelopes containing 163 grams of heroin hidden in the engine compartment, according to the New York State Police. Harewood failed to return to court and a warrant was issued for his arrest out of Orange County Court.
