Walk To Prevent Suicide this Saturday

The annual Walk To Fight Suicide Out of the Darkness Walk is coming up this Saturday, Sept. 30 on the Walkway Over the Hudson. The walk begins on the Poughkkeepsie side of the Walkway on Parker Avenue  Registration is at 9:30 am, and the walk kicks off at 11.

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walk this Saturday, you will join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. In other words, you will be doing a lot of good for a lot of people. Including yourself.
