Wednesday night was a special night at Fenway Park, as they honored the 1986 American League Champions, the Boston Red Sox.

Of course, while that team ended up losing the World Series in dramatic fashion to the Mets, it was still nice to see Red Sox greats like Jim Rice, Dwight Evans, Roger Clemons, and Wade Boggs all back together again.

Only problem is someone didn't tell Boggs not to wear his Yankees World Series ring.

Boggs spent the first eleven seasons of his eighteen year career with the Red Sox. It wasn't until 1996 however, that Boggs won his first World Series - and it just happened to be with Boston's hated rivals, the New York Yankees.

Oh well, this is the same guy who once claimed he drank sixty-four beers on a cross-country flight so anything is expected.
