Get ready for a roller coaster ride of weather.

The Hudson Valley has been experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures. On Tuesday temperatures climbed into the 60s, and today we're expected to see record highs in the low 70s.

Before you turn off the heat and crank up the AC, we should point out that it's still technically winter. You'll be quickly reminded of that on Thursday when temperatures will fall a whopping 30 degrees and we'll see a mix of snow and rain falling throughout the region.

The National Weather Service is calling for snow and sleet accumulations of less than an inch, but the temperatures will plummet to the upper 30s. After a day of summer-like conditions, the harsh reality of winter may be hard to swallow.

Wet weather is expected throughout the rest of the week, but temperatures are expected to rebound a little bit, with highs in the 50s expected this weekend.
