Kieran from the Smithwick's Brewery in Kilkenny described the beer as having a fruity, sweet caramel biscuit smell to it. The bitterness from the hops is balanced with a nutty taste from the malted barley. You might also notice a hint of a coffee in the flavor. The beer has a syrupy texture, coating the mouth and leaving a nice aftertaste.
