This is a little too close for comfort.

AccuWeather storm chaser and meteorologist Reed Timmer had lead a team to Northern Texas to watch as severe weather unfolded Saturday.

Here, he narrowly escapes as a very large and violent tornado in Canton, TX passes directly over the road where Timmer and his group  were just parked a few minutes before.

Unfortunately, the storms killed at least ten people and injured dozens as they moved across Texas, Oklahoma, and other parts of the south and midwest Saturday afternoon and evening. This same storm system even dumped a foot of snow in parts of Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Snow in the end of April? Yeah, no thanks.

While tornadoes like this are unlikely, the chance is still there for some heavy thunderstorms across New York state Monday as a cold front pushes in.
