On Wednesday the Hudson Valley will salute our veterans with a host of events and ceremonies throughout the region.

The Times Herald Record and Poughkeepsie Journal have complete lists of what is happening in each local community on November 11 in honor of Veterans Day. Here are some of the bigger events happening throughout the Hudson Valley.

Dutchess County
The Dutchess County’s Veterans Day ceremony will start at 11 am at the Dutchess County War Memorial located at John K. Rinaldi Memorial Park on Raymond Avenue and Main Street in the Town of Poughkeepsie

Hyde Park: 10:45am at the Veterans Memorial, 4383 Albany Post Road.

City of Poughkeepsie: 1pm at the Lafayette Post Home on 131 Hudson Avenue.

Beacon: 11am at the Memorial Building, 413 Main Street.

Village of Fishkill: 11am at the Veterans Monument on Main and Broad streets.

Village of Wappingers Falls: 11am at the Major Joseph McDonald MIA/POW Park on East Main Street

Orange County

Florida: 11 am at the veteran’s monument on Main Street.

Montgomery: A parade will take place between the Police Department and the Veterans Monumet starting at 11am. A ceremony will take place after the parade.

Newburgh: 11 am ceremony at the Veterans Monument at Newburgh Town Hall.

Port Jervis: Parade starts at 10:30 am near the Port Jervis Middle School and ends at Orange Square where there will be a Veterans Day Service.

Ulster County

Kingston: 11 am at City Hall there will be a Veterans Day Ceremony.

Saugerties: 11am at American Legion Post No. 72 onPartition Street.

Marlborough: 11am at the war monuments in front of Marlboro Middle School.
