Verizon customers across New York State, including parts of the Hudson Valley, are experiencing service outages.

Syracuse.com reports that customers of Verizon have been experiencing outages since noon on Tuesday, September 25. The biggest cities in New York that are affected are New York City, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. It is unclear what is causing the nationwide outages.

The Hudson Valley region has also had reported outages. The biggest town that has been affected is Newburgh. Other than Newburgh, Hudson Valley Verizon outages were reported in the Hudson and Cairo region.

The article reports that much of the country is experiencing issues with Verizon outages as well. Surrounding states like Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania have been affected. Outage Report has a detailed map of all the Verizon outages across the country.
