Utah High School Football Game Has A Unexpected Ending [Watch]

This is a perfect example of how NOT to run the clock out in a football game

The game was between Spanish Fork High School and Maple Mountain High School, both from Utah.

Spanish Fork was leading the game going into fourth down, and seconds left on the clock. Rather than punting the ball away, they decided to let the QB run the clock out. Seems simple enough, run for 3 seconds, and fall down, easy right?

Another important detail, is that he should not fumble the ball. Guess what? He fumbled the ball and the other team recovered, and ran it in for a touchdown, hence winning the game.

I would hate to be this kid in the locker room, that's for sure.
