There was an oil spill on the Hudson River on Sunday that now looks like it only impacts one Hudson Valley shoreline. The Poughkeepsie Journal quoted a press release from the state police stating the spill will only affect 100 yards of the Germantown NY shoreline.  Teams responded Sunday afternoon after there was a reported spill from the Germantown boat launch. The DEC assessed the spill using a helicopter and determined the affected area to be approximately 300 feet of shoreline.
