Coming into work on a Monday morning isn't always the most enjoyable thing to do, but once you're there, you get back into the swing of things and away you go. That certainly wasn't the case for employees of a business based in Shandaken today.

According to the Ulster County Sheriff's office, the staff called 911 after finding a hand written note located in the business indicating that a bomb was going to off. The building was checked by the police with help from the Town of Saugerties Police Explosives Detection Canine and, it was determined, that the threat was not credible. During the search of the building another note was found.

A short time later, another 911 call was placed from the same business as another note was found. All in all, four notes were discovered and, as a result of the investigation, it was determined that they were placed by an employee.

According to the Ulster County Sheriff's office, 35-year-old Nicole M. Gorsline, was charged with four counts of the class E felony of falsely reporting an incident in the second degree and was arraigned in the Town of Shandaken Court and released on her own recognizance to appear at a later date.
