An Ulster County teen is accused of stealing a bike, breaking into a business and attempting to steal a purse from a women.

On Tuesday, Kingston Police arrested a 15-year-old from Kingston for third-degree robbery and two counts of third-degree attempted burglary, felonies.

According to Kingston Police, on Saturday, the 15-year-old forcibly took a bike from another person. The teen was found, given an appearance ticket for family court and turned back over to his guardian.

Also on Saturday, someone broke a window to a Smith Avenue business while attempting to enter the business to commit a burglary, police say. The incident was captured on video. An investigation ensued, leading police to allege the same teen committed the crime.

On Tuesday, a teenager attempted to steal a purse from a woman in the area of North Front Street and Washington Avenue. Once again, a police investigation led them to allege the same 15-year-old committed the crime.

The teenager was located, arrested, and placed in a secure juvenile facility until they can be produced to Ulster County Family Court.
