Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?

On Thursday, Saugerties Police made an arrest in connection to an investigation into the larceny of several fixed security cameras from the Cantine Memorial Complex, during the early morning hours of July 4th, 2017.

David C. Moorhus, 46, of Saugerties was observed by other security cameras at the complex, climbing over a fence, then scaling a building, and removing security cameras that he had previously installed.

Moorhus illegally entered the property by climbing over the fencing and walls without the permission of the Town of Saugerties Parks and Recreation Department, and as a result was charged with Criminal Trespass in the third-degree.

Moorhus was processed at police headquarters and released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Saugerties Court to answer to his charge.
