Two Weekends, Two Great Halloween Events

Are you ooking to really celebrate Halloween this year?  I've got a couple of ideas for you.  One will happen this Saturday, October 24, and the second one will be next Saturday, October 31, Halloween night.

The first Halloween event is for you and your best friend.  And by best friend, I mean your pet.  The Boris and Robyn Show is having a pet costume contest from noon-3pm at Petco on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie.  Bring your pet in costume, get a picture taken, and we'll post it on our website.  Listeners will get to vote for the best.  We've got some great prizes to give away including a TV.  And all pets get a goodie bag. All we're asking for is a donation of a needed item for Pets Alive in Middletown.

The second event is a no pets event, but it will be a blast.  It's The Hudson Valley Boo Ball at The Mid Hudson Civic Center.  The Civic Center will be set up like a giant haunted house, all done by Kevin McCurdy's Haunted House, a Hudson Valley Halloween attraction for almost 40 years.  There will be 1500 in cash prizes, food, drink, and more.  Sounds like a plan,  Actually, it sounds like two plans.
