Two toddlers, who were left home alone in Louisiana died when their house caught fire, while their mother was getting her hair done.

The fire officials are trying to sort out everything that happened, but they know one thing for sure, according to state fire marshal deputy chief Brant Thompson, “Ciarria Johnson … left her children unattended for hours as she was having her hair styled.”

The mother said she had arranged for a neighbor to watch her children, but after further investigation, she in fact had not.

The children were 4-year old Ta'shae Thompson Johnson, and 3-year old Clifton Thompson Johnson.

There were two gas space heaters left running in the home, and some flammable material was left by one, which caused the fire, engulfing the entire home, according to Fox 13.

The mother has been charged with two counts of negligent homicide.

These are the kind of stories that drive me crazy. How could you leave you toddlers home alone for hours while you are out getting your hair done? It's pathetic that a mother could do that.

How do you feel about this? Leave your thoughts and comments.
